I remember this particular movie. When I was a kid I thought the guy (Andy?) would never get the propeller working.
Here's several questions on another related, old time issue: Remember Gus Spiegelburg? Remember the Fox River there in Fremont, Wisconsin? Remember the Cheese factory of Gus's relatives? If so, does any body remember if Carol learned how to properly break a hard boiled egg with the shell on?
Okay, well, Carol will need to update us on her hardboiled egg breaking skills.
I think Gus had a favorite restaurant on Monroe St. Surely Dale, Charlie or Gene should know.
Probably only my twin knows about this other item - Jim and I used to sit at the bottom of the stairway for Gus to come home from work whereupon he gave us cookies out of his lunch box.
I also remember getting up at the crack of dawn so I could play on the swinging horse in the yard. Another young kid, I don't remember who, would always get there first, so I woke up really early. I remember vividly one morning running outside and getting on the horse.
Was it Charles or Dale that learned the hard way to wait until all of the pocket knives/ice picks were thrown at the newspaper on the grouhd. Which one reached his hand in to pick theirs up when I threw my ice pick? Ouch! Dad was sure mad because we were to be going to church and we were just messing around while we waited for Mom and Dad to come out of the house on Bryan St. to get in the car.
I watched some of these movies out at Andy's house back in 1978 and then the last time at Gene's house.
From what I remember were on some of them were. 1. Carol holding kitten at Grandma's house in Wolcott. 2. Ralph chasing a rabbit in a back yard with some of our family watching. 3. Double exposure of dad shooting basketball etc. 4. Ted drilling by Kentland Railroad tracks and trains going by. 5. Gene getting into boat with Ted and Korny. 6. Dad and John working on Andy's house in Fl. There could be more. I don't know.

We would chase down the street to get those cookies. If I remember right, Gus owned a Jeep.
Jim
Another question. Did Carol learn to do it without cracking the plate under the egg?
